Gospel Night in Decatur
July 12, 2007Silenced in attention. Don’t know if we’ve ever played a gig where the approval for our music was couched in this way. We played a gig tonight at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Decatur, GA and that’s the way I would say we were received. Great crowd if you can appreciate total attentiveness. Kinda made me nervous because every little missed note we heard. We were well recieved but it was a little nerve racking because people listened so intently! We worked up a special gospel set and laid it out tonight! We had a lot of good feedback from the show, and one nice young lady drew a picture of the band. Howard Finster’s got nothing on her. She did a fantastic job and we’ll load the pictures up on the website after we scan them.
We’re working up a gig with John Willingham (Doublewide) for Thursday Night, July 19th as a “DejaBlue Grass Band & Friends” gig at the Ribs, Etc. on Roswell Road in Buckhead. Come join us!
