We had a blast opening up for Caddy sky and hope you did too, if you joined us! We really appreciate everyone coming out in the heat! The place was packed! Wow. Was it hot in there or what? I left at 1:40AM after listening to an impromptu jam of Brian Simpson and Andy Moritz with Jody Hughes and some others out on the patio. Wow. There are some really phenomenal bg pickers in this town. Got a chance to shoot the bull with C-Sky’s brilliant young banjo player, Matt Menefee. That was quite a treat. What a great dude. Had a chance to sing with Leah Calvert tonight which is always a treat. She has a voice straight from God. What a talent! We will be back at the Red Light soon, so please keep your eyes on our website.
Got in my car (with a Zingo driver) to head home. and my thermometer said it was STILL 88 degrees….at 1:40AM!!!
