for the record, We were blown away by the energy and drive of Trampled By Turtles. Rarely does a band live up to hype like they did, but they were phenomenal.

My husband Billy and I, and friends Ron and Susan, saw you at Cliff Valley last month and Brewgrass in Asheville yesterday. Wow, couldn't tell you had taken off a month. Sounded GREAT. Best band, by far.
Check out the Citizen-Times website Sunday. Lots of pics of the crowd. I think #34 looks familiar.
Looking forward to your pics of the event. Continued good fortune to you all.

“The deja bluegrass band serves up a fresh song selection of truegrass, piled high with pop and newgrass, lightly salted with some soul-shaking gospel and the mix is truly a mix of stewgrass mixed high on harmony, melody, and tonal sound, second to none”. And that’s puttin’ it mildly! From their mix of authentic sound straight from the North Georgia Mountains, the deja bluegrass band has a unique sound that will satisfy even the most delicate ear for bluegrass harmonies! From the original bluegrass enthusiast himself, with the likes of Mr. Bill Monroe, to the newest acquired ear for the twangy, loping craggy river mountain sound in the crowd, the DejaBlue Grass Band proves time and time again that a good time on stage translates into to a “ho-down” good time party for one and all. Even for those few neophytes who claim to not have an ear for bluegrass, by the end of the session, their toes are a dangling, their heels are a moving, and their lips are a humming along! From the traditional melodies of “Like a fox on the run” to the DJBGB original of “Bucket Full of Rain”, the toes, the feet and the lips just can’t keep still – but then why would they want to! Thank God that the Americana sound of the mountains is alive and well with the sound of the deja bluegrass band!
