Shake Your Grass this weekend!

March 30, 2010
Its a Good Friday to take a break from our recording sessions  and shed our winter coat this weekend with 2 gigs back-to-back, our first public gigs in 5 months.  We’ll be playing some of the new material from our new CD to be released later this Summer, and its is gonna be beautiful weekend in Atlanta, so get off your Grass and join us!

This Friday, April 2nd, 8PM, The 5 Spot in Little Five Points, Atlanta, GA.
Sharing the stage with our friends, Smokey’s Farmland Band, to celebrate the release of their CD “80 Mile Getaway”.  $10 at the Door, $20 gets you entry and a SFB “80 Mile Getaway” CD.

This Saturday, April 3rd, 7PM @ WRFG’s PeachBlossom Festival, Clarkston Community Center, in Clarkston, GA.

The DjBGB returns to Peach Blossom in their NEW LOCATION to help raise money for a worthy group of folks.  It’s a full line up of great local bluegrass and, unlike in past years,….they serve BEER!

Saddle Up!!  See you there.

  1. I would like to talk to you guys about a very special gig on May 19th or 20th. Maybe I can tell you here. One of my best friends is turning 60 on 5-19-11. A bunch of us are going camping that weekend in North Ga Mountains. We would love it if we could hire you for that Thursday or Friday or Sat. You would be welcome to camp with us or just play and scoot. Either way we promise a good time. Most of us are over 50, but we know how to party in the woods. We will have tons of good food, booze, and lots of fun. Arthur (birthday boy) is an accomplished muscian himself. Plays all types of guitar, mandolin, strummin stick..and he loves blue grass music. I thought it might be an interesting gift to have a band come play in the woods. It’s easy to get to, but remote. (primitive camping) I’d be happy to send a map and talk more about it. Can you email me? I hope I hear from you soon. Thanks,
